The Secret Marriage

("Il matrimonio segreto")

Domenic Cimarosa's delightful romantic light opera tells the tale of Paolino and Carolina. The two have secretly married, but Carolina's aunt Fidalma loves Paolino, and Count Robinson, who came to marry Carolina's sister, has fallen in love with Carolina. Schemes and plots abound before the truth comes out and all ends happily!
